These terms govern your use of the DockScore website (dockscore.io) and the DockScore platform (app.dockscore.io and any tournament subdomain). By using either, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.
Plain-language summary: pay what we agreed for the tournament you signed up to run, don't abuse the service, your tournament data belongs to you, and we'll do our best to keep it running. Specifics below.
DockScore is software for managing fishing tournaments. We provide a branded tournament site, online registration, dockside catch entry, jury review, live leaderboard, and post-event reporting. Specific features available depend on the plan you purchase.
Use DockScore to run real fishing tournaments. Don't use it to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We'll always try to explain why and give you a chance to fix the issue first, except where the violation is severe.
The data you record about your tournament — boats, anglers, catches, jury decisions, results — is your data. You can export it at any time in standard formats. If you stop using DockScore, we'll provide a full export and delete the data within 90 days of cancellation, unless you ask us to retain it for archival reasons.
We retain anonymized, aggregate metrics (e.g. "tournaments using DockScore in 2026: 47") for our own reporting. These metrics never identify your event or your participants without your consent.
We aim for high availability during your tournament window — that is when reliability matters most. We do not guarantee 100% uptime, and routine maintenance may occasionally cause brief interruptions outside of active event windows. If a meaningful outage affects your event, contact us and we'll make it right.
Cloudflare and other infrastructure providers we depend on have their own service availability commitments. We are not responsible for outages caused by these providers, but we will work with you to recover.
The DockScore platform, brand, and software are ours. The tournament data you create is yours. Content you upload (logos, photos, descriptions) remains yours; you grant us the right to display it on the tournament sites you operate through DockScore.
DockScore is provided "as is." We do our best to deliver an accurate, reliable platform, but we cannot guarantee fitness for every purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of DockScore is limited to the amount you have paid us for the event in question.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where DockScore is registered. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith discussion first, then through binding arbitration if needed.
If we change these terms in a material way, we'll notify active customers by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
